There it is said that Jalbum is for Win/GNU/Mac there in the description. Using GNU, what should do I when I get that 'setup.exe', men?

I was under the impression that Jalbum could be used with OSX Mac. I could only find PC versions. If you are able to point me towards a MAC version, I may be able to comment. Kind regards Paul

It`s ok...
The program has lots of nice features, that's for sure. These are my biggest problems with it: 1. The interface, its ok i guess, it aint horrible, but there are lots of different tabs everywhere and in each of them theres different things again. And sometimes you get the felling that your being overflooded with information and choices and that some of the choices slightly overlap eachother.
2. Ease of use, there are lotsa of definitions that are quite difficult to figure out at first, lots of choices to confuse the consumer. It would be nice if (not in the help! thats too much work) somewhere IN the interface itself when you highlight an option it could explain just exaclty what the particular option does. 3. Previewing albums, you can add different styles of CSS to every page for every skin of the web album, but it only previews one. It would be nice to hav a "live" previewer, as in maybe rendering the html code. Because how it is now, to see the results with a particular CSS style you hav to constantly generate the page each time.
Tasks i solve with this program: easy and fast building of web albums. How: well the program just does the job well and is definitely a fast way of making a web album.
I really enjoy the program though, and being free, it's a great value. Thank you ;)
Author's Response:
Well that's the toughest review I've received soo far. I aim to simplify JAlbum radically for the future with the aim to not show more info than needed to make a standard album, but still, you seem to have missed that you can hover the mouse over the user interface controls to get hints on their use and you also seem to have overlooked the ease of use once you realize you only need to drag and drop an image folder onto the program and press "Make album". I don't know of any competing program that does the job in so few steps. Thousands of enthusiastic users have emailed me saying they like JAlbum for its ease of use. It is therefore rather odd and sad to get 1 out of 5 in usability. I designed JAlbum after getting stuck in several competing programs. I'm not saying no one gets stuck in JAlbum, but "some" seem to make it anyway judging by the 4.6 million JAlbum albums that are already published (MSN search stats). Regarding skins lacking samples for each style. This is true, but only for some skins. The Chameleon skin for instance has a sample for each style. The "catch" is that the final file size would expand radically if I was to include a sample image for each possible style.
